The I-10 League and EDP Soccer Announce Partnership for the 2024-2025 Season

The I-10 League and EDP Soccer are proud to announce an exciting partnership for the 2024-2025 season! The I-10 League, named after the interstate highway that runs from one coast to the other along the southern United States, has been a positive competitive opportunity for the development of clubs from Tallahassee through the Florida Panhandle and into Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi. Beginning in Fall 2024, the I-10 League will now join the EDP Soccer family of Leagues and be sanctioned under FYSA and US Youth Soccer.

Andy Warner, I-10 League and ASG Warner Director stated, “Our club has had a fantastic experience playing in EDP leagues in North Florida and are excited to be able to offer the same league management experience to clubs in northwest of Florida and other states in the South. Mickey Briscoe, EDP Soccer’s relationship manager for the Southeast, and the entire EDP Staff have been a joy to work with. Consequently, the I-10 membership is excited to begin this league partnership.”

The EDP family of leagues includes EDP League and EDP Futures League, primarily serving the Middle Atlantic states; EDP North Atlantic League; CT Championship League and CT Future Leagues; EDP-CMSSL Futures and EDP SoccerPlex Futures, primarily serving Maryland; Ohio Directors League; and EDP Florida Competitive Leagues. In addition, EDP Soccer manages the four USYS National League Conferences in the USYS East Region. Overall, EDP Soccer managed leagues serve 7,600 teams from 16 different states.

Jen Marcella, EDP Executive Director of Leagues commented, “We are thrilled to be working with this fantastic group of clubs in the South. This is a great opportunity for the clubs in the region to continue to expand on the founding premise of the I-10 League — providing meaningful and well-organized competitive league play for their players. Since EDP Soccer manages other leagues throughout Florida, we expect partnering with the I-10 League to be very successful.”
