Quick Feet & Pure Passion at the 8U-13U NJYS Futsal Championships

This weekend saw 8U-13U Boys teams take the court at the New Jersey Youth Soccer Futsal Championships at Iron Peak Sports & Events in Hillsborough, NJ. Top futsal programs from around the region competed, with 10 top teams being crowned champions.

Boys 8U

RSMG 2018B Showcase (NJ) and Ballers Den 2018B (NJ) both had some of the top 2018 players in the state, putting on a great display of talent and skill. The match between the two sides ended in a 3-3 draw, and both teams won their other three matches. It went to the third tiebreaker with the teams also tied on goal difference, and RSMG won the championship on the goals scored tiebreaker,

Boys 9U

Just like the 2018 age group, it was once again Ballers Den 2017B (NJ) and RSMG 2017B Showcase (NJ) who finished at the top of the table but was Ballers Den who won the championship by a 6-3 scoreline. In the Yellow bracket, A.S. Junior Elite - 2017 Boys (NJ) won first place.

Boys 10U

Manhattan Kickers FC - 2016's (NYE) and RSMG 2016B Showcase (NJ) both reached the final with perfect 3-0-0 records in group play. The final was very tightly contested, with Manhattan Kickers coming away with a 3-2 victory. A.S. Junior Elite 2016 Boys (NJ) won the Yellow bracket defeated RSMG 2016B Academy II (NJ) 4-3 in the final.

Boys 11U

RSMG 2015B Showcase (NJ) and Manhattan Kickers (NYE) took the court in the final right after the U10 boys final saw the same two clubs. This final was also a close match, with regulation ending 3-3. In the Penalty Shootout, Manhattan Kickers won 4-3. Futevol Premier 2015 Napoli (NJ) won the Yellow bracket final 2-1 over RSMG 2015B Black (NJ).

Boys 12U

Levels SC 2014 (CT) put on an impressive performance in each of their matches. The final group stage game saw them take on RSMG 2014B Showcase (NJ), who both entered on six points, and saw Levels SC win 5-2 to make the final where they would go on to defeat a previously unbeaten Ballers Den 2014B (NJ) by a 5-2 scoreline. AS Junior Elite 2014 Boys (NJ) won the Yellow bracket defeating RSMG 2014B Academy II (NJ) 2-1 in the final.

Boys 13U

RSMG 2013B Showcase (NJ) was powered by a fantastic attack in each of their four matches to finish a perfect 4-0-0. Scoring five or more goals in each of their matches, they defeated MDS Futsal 2013 Boys (NJ), Success Academy Soccer Program SA 2013B - Blue (NYE), and Core Futsal Club 2013 (PAE).
