Summer Soccer at its Finest: Epic Matchups and Incredible Energy at Central Jersey Invitational

The EDP Central Jersey Invitational welcomed more than 75 of the top summer programs in the region with close to 350 teams participating.
One of the most popular events of the summer, many clubs had more than five teams in attendance, including Philadelphia Union, PDA, Perfect Touch FC, Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals, Cedar Stars Academy North, SJYS, SJEB FC, NY Red Bulls, NJ Nationals FC, Real Futbol Academy, Princeton SA, Wall SC, Futboltech, The Football Academy NJ, NJ Premier FC, PDA Hibernian ,TSF Academy, Valencia SA and Forza.
In total, 53 champions were crowned across the 8U-15U Boys' and Girls' age groups.
8U Boys
Valencia SA Savage Premier 2017 capped off their weekend defeating Futboltech Summer Select - 2017 Boys Red 5-1 in the final after going a perfect 3-0-0 in the group stages.
8U Girls
Monmouth United Soccer MUSC 2017 Girls Blue defeated Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals 17G Black - Summer Select in the final, defeating them for the second time at the event to be crowned champions.
9U Boys
Tru Tekkers B2016 Elite Red defeated Valencia SA 16 Savage Select to reach the final after both teams entered 2-0-0, and in the final, they beat NJ Premier B2016 – Blue.
9U Girls
Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals 16G Black - Summer Select went 4-0-0, coming in first place winning two close games on Sunday, a 3-2 win over SJEB FC 16G Summer Select and a 3-1 win over Wall Elite Sounders.
10U Boys
NY Red Bulls RDS Showcase B2015 Red and NJ Nationals drew 2-2 on Sunday, putting both teams on seven points, but putting NY Red Bulls through to the final on Goal Differential, where they would go on to beat a previously undefeated NJ Premier FC B2015 – BLUE 3-1.
10U Girls
Futboltech Summer Select - 2015 Girls went 4-0-0, clinching first place with a tight Freehold SL Elite Mavericks in their final match.
11U Boys
Three teams finished 2-0-1 in Group A, with NY Red Bulls RDS Showcase B2014 Red advancing out over Ballers Den and Cedar Stars Academy North 2014 Boys Select Green. In the final, they beat Futboltech Summer Select - 2014 Boys White 2-1.
11U Girls
Penalty kicks were needed to decide the Championship match between NJ Premier FC G2014 and Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals 14G Black - Summer Select. Both teams were 3-0-0 in the group stages, and the final game ended 0-0, with NJ Premier winning the penalty shoot-out 3-1.12U Boys
Futboltech Summer Select - 2013 Boys White and Futboltech Summer Select - 2013 Boys Red both ended group play 3-0-0, with White defeating Red in the all Futboltech final.
12U Girls
Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals 13G Black - Summer Select had a weekend full of close matches, drawing 2 games leading up the final where they defeated Syracuse Development Academy 13G Pre GA 2-0.
13U Boys
NY Red Bulls RDS Showcase B2012 White and PDA Hibernian Mbappe 2012 went wire to wire in the final, with the high scoring thriller ending 4-3 in favor of NY Red Bulls.
13U Girls
PDA Shore 2013 Tidal Wave defeated PDA 2013G Stars Blue on penalty kicks in the final after drawing 2-2.
14U Boys
SELECAO 11 bounced back from an opening 1-0 loss to advance out of the Group B three-way tiebreaker and defeated La Hermandad 2-1 in the final.
14U Girls
World Class FC 2011 ECNL defeated PDA Spirit'11 RL White 2-0 in the final, making it four wins out of four matches on the weekend.
15U Boys
The Football Academy NJ Summer Academy Boys U15 won each of their group games by a 4-1 scoreline, and in the final, it was once again their strong attack that led them to a 5-2 victory over PDA Hibernian Ream 2010.
15U Girls
Wall Elite Juventus and NY Red Bulls RDS Showcase G2010 Red both entered day two unbeaten, and in the championship match, Wall Elite Juventus won the tight battle between the two sides 1-0.
