Hundreds of Teams Converge for Competitive Action at EDP Spring Classic Boys 2026

This weekend, EDP Soccer completed the EDP Spring Classic, with the EDP Spring Classic Boys, hosting over 380 teams. More than 130 clubs were in attendance, from New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, Vermont, Delaware, Rhode Island, Virginia, and Ontario. In total, 59 Champions were crowned on Sunday across Tuckahoe Turf Farms, Green Branch Park, WSFS Bank Sportsplex, and Maria Gatta Community Park. 


Just 10 teams out of the 380+ in attendance managed to keep clean sheets through group play; FC Copa 2011B Black NJ Central, Hex FC Keystone USYS Black 12B, JA Elite FC - 2007/08 Boys, Jackson SC Tecnica Elite Soccer 10, JP Soccer B2009 EA, Manalapan SC Vipers 08B, Monroe SC 2011 Boys Legends White, Old Bridge SC Stingrays Elite, TSF Academy 2010 Boys NAL and TSF Academy 2011 Boys NAL. 


Top scoring teams on the weekend were PSA North '16 Boys Orange, Coppermine SC 2016 Boys Pre-Academy I, FC Copa 2013B Black NJ West, GZS United B2013 NL, SYC 2016B Pre-MLS Next, Monmouth United Soccer 2014 Boys Blue, and PSA Princeton '14 Orange.

Boys 9U Red

STA-MUSC 2017B Black and FUTBOLTECH CHSC - 2017 MILAN finished 3-0-0 to reach the final in a very closely contested bracket that saw Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals 17B Black, The Football Academy NJ 2017 Boys Black and NYCFC Boys Select 2017 each finish 1-2-0. In the final, regulation ended 2-2, and STA won the championship on penalty kicks. 


Boys 10U Red

SYC 2016B Pre-MLS Next was one of the top teams of the event all weekend, keeping a clean sheet in both day one wins, including a win over NYCFC Boys Select 2016. They finished a group play a perfect 3-0-0, and in the final, defeated fellow undefeated side Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals 16B Black 3-1 to bring the championship back to Northern Virginia. 


Boys 11U Red

Beadling 2015 Boys South Red won multiple tough matches over the weekend, including a 3-2 win over NYCFC Boys Select 2015 to finish group play a perfect 3-0-0 and reach the final. In the final, they played a tough Silver Lake Soccer Academy 2015 Boys Orange, and kept their first clean sheet of the weekend, winning 2-0 to return to Western Pennsylvania as Champions. 



Boys 12U Red

Montclair United 2014 Blue was the lone side to finish the group stage 3-0-0, winning both day one games 1-0, and then a 2-1 win over Real FA 2014 Pre-MLS AD sealed their spot in the final. FUTBOLTECH CHSC - 2014 JUVENTUS entered Sunday one point behind The Football Academy NJ 2014 Boys Black, but a 2-0 victory for Futboltech over The FA and Montclair’s win over Real FA saw Futboltech into the final, where they would go on to defeat Futboltech 2-0 for the championship. 


Boys 13U Red

An all-Connecticut final saw JA Elite FC - 2013 Boys take on Trumbull United SC 2013 Boys NL. JA Eltie reached the final on the goal differential tiebreaker against JP Soccer B2013 EA, with wins over SJEB FC 13B ECNL and Real FA U13 MLS NEXT AD. Trumbull had a 2-1-0 record, with a day two win over Westchester Flames 2013 Elite seeing them into the final. In the final, it was JA Elite who came away with the 1-0 victory.  


Boys 14U Red

Clarkstown SC 2012 Boys NAL started the weekend with a tough 4-3 win over SJEB FC 12B ECNL, followed up with another tough 2-1 win over Canadian side AFC-2012B – OPDL. On Sunday, the played another close group stage match, with a 1-1 draw against Fever SC 2012 Academy Red seeing them into the final. The final saw them match up against Cedar Stars Academy Ocean 2012B who entered 3-0-0, but the Clarkstown attack was firing on all cylinders, leading them to a 4-1 victory.  




Boys 15U Red

Aurora FC 2011B OPDL went 4-0-0, returning to Canada as Champions. They scored 15 goals and allowed just five in their four games, with wins over Levittown SC Aces F.C., New England Force U15 Boys National, Philadelphia SC Coppa 11s Blue and Jackson SC Tecnica Elite Soccer '11 Boys Jackson SC. 


Boys 16U Red

Jackson SC Tecnica Elite Soccer 10 I kept a clean sheet all through the group stages, winning three very close matches—An opening 2-0 win over JA Elite FC - 2010 Boys followed by a 1-0 win over New England Force U16 Boys National. On Sunday, they recorded a 3-0 win over Seacoast United Massachusetts 2010 Boys NL to close out the group stage. In the final, they would concede for the first time but defeated Canadian side Pickering FC 2010B OPDL 2-1 for the championship. 



Boys 17U Red

JA Elite FC - 2009 Boys scored multiple goals in every game. In group play, they started with a 2-1 win over STA MOSC 2009 EDP Boys and then a 3-2 win over New Rochelle Boys 2009. A Sunday morning 3-2 win over New England Force U17 Boys National secured a spot in the final against East Coast Surf B2009 ECNL-RL. East Coast Surf reach the final with a 3-2 win over PA Classics NAL Reading 09M, 2-1 over TSF Academy - NJ 2009 Boys NAL and 2-0 over Peak FA- New England 09 VSL. In the final, JA Elite defeated East Coast Surf by a 2-0 scoreline. 


Boys 19U Red

Peak FA-New England 07 NL returned to Vermont as Champions, scoring 10 goals throughout the tournament. Back-to-back clean sheets on Saturday put them in pole position to reach the final, and they closed out group play with a 2-1 win over Silver Lake Soccer Academy Premier. In the final, they came up against an unbeaten JA Elite FC - 2007/08 Boys and became the first team of the weekend to crack the JA Elite defense to come away with a 2-0 championship victory.
