
The second annual EDP Spring Kickoff Florida was held this past weekend at the beautiful Paradise Sports Complex in Naples, FL. Teams from throughout Florida competed with others from Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island. The EDP Spring Kickoff Florida was the perfect event for Florida teams to prepare for EDP Florida Competitive League play, with over 1,300 teams participating this Spring.Â

In the Boys 9U Blue Bracket, Tru Tekkers B2016 Elite Red dominated with commanding victories over Colo Colo Soccer Academy and Lee County Strikers. Miramar Soccer Academy & Social Club also excelled, securing a victory over Fort Lauderdale Select but fell short against Tru Tekkers in the final match. Â
In the Boys 9U White Bracket, the Miramar Soccer Academy Coerfontaine FC 16/17B Championship II team showcased their strength, culminating in a 4-0 shutout victory over Miami Breakers FC in the final. Miami Breakers displayed strong performances, including a 4-0 win over Naples Elite, but couldn’t clinch the championship. Naples Elite Soccer Club claimed a narrow 2-1 win in the consolation match against Fort Lauderdale Select.

In the Boys 10U Blue bracket, MVP Futbol Club MVP FC 15B emerged as champions, capping off their tournament with a 2-1 victory over Miramar Soccer Academy & Social Club CFC Naples 15B Premier in the final. Miramar had an impressive run, securing dominant wins earlier but fell just short in the title game. Colo Colo Soccer Academy claimed third place after a penalty shootout victory over Key Biscayne SC. Miami Futbol Academy took consolation honors, defeating Fort Lee Soccer League Bergen Football Academy 3-2 in a tight match.

In the Boys 10UÂ White Division, Naples Elite Soccer Club dominated, clinching the championship with a win over Fort Lauderdale Select in the final. Key Biscayne SC displayed resilience, earning a victory over Miramar Soccer Academy to secure third place. Â
In the Boys 11U Blue Division, STA Mount Olive Soccer Club 2014 Boys showcased their dominance throughout the tournament, culminating in a decisive victory over MVP Futbol Club 14B in the final. MVP Futbol Club made a commendable effort, bouncing back with strong performances in the group stage, including a 4-2 win over Colo Colo Soccer Academy, but they couldn't overcome STA's prowess in the championship match.

The Boys 12U Blue Division was dominated by Rhode Island Surf B2013 Elite (RI), who claimed the championship with a stellar performance throughout the tournament. Rhode Island Surf showcased their strength early on, with wins against Miami Athletic Club and Miramar Soccer Academy. Their impressive run culminated in the final, where they secured a 4-2 victory over Miramar Soccer Academy & Social Club Coerfontaine FC 13B Championship (FL).

In the Boys 12U White Division, STA Mount Olive Soccer Club STA MOSC 2013 Pre E64 Boys (NJ) emerged as champions with a commanding tournament performance. They opened their campaign with a dominating win and continued to overwhelm their opponents, capping their run with a victory over Colo Colo Soccer Academy USA BU12 Elite. Â
The Boys 13U Division featured impressive performances, culminating in Brooklyn United Academy B2012 National (NYE) securing the championship with a dominant victory over SFC New England SFC 2012B Elite (MA) in the final. Brooklyn United showcased their strength throughout the tournament, earning a key victory over Rhode Island Surf. SFC New England also displayed resilience, advancing to the final thanks to hard-fought matches, including a narrow 1-0 win over Brooklyn United in the group stage and a 3-1 victory against Colo Colo Soccer Academy.Â
The Boys 14U Blue Division showcased remarkable talent and competitive energy, with Bay Lions Florida Soccer Club 11B Elite emerging as the champions. The Bay Lions started with a solid 3-0 victory against Parkland Soccer Club ECNL RL B11. They followed up with a second win over RCD Espanyol de Barcelona NJ 2011 JHON LAURIDSEN. On Sunday, the Bay Lions continued their dominance with a triumph against RCD Espanyol and capped off the tournament with a 2-0 victory over Parkland SC.

The Girls 11U/12U Division was marked by exciting matchups and impressive performances, with MVP Futbol Club MVP FC 14G clinching the championship in a thrilling final. The tournament began with MVP FC securing a win over Tropical Soccer 2015 Girls Elite. Iconz Experience Iconz Elite Girls 2013 also started strong, securing a victory against West Pines United FC 2014G Elite.Â
As the competition progressed, West Pines United secured a win against Tropical Soccer, while Iconz continued their momentum with a hard-fought 4-3 victory over MVP FC. On Sunday, Iconz displayed remarkable form with a win against Tropical Soccer. MVP FC bounced back with a triumph over West Pines United. The final pitted the top two teams, MVP FC and Iconz Experience, in an intense match. MVP FC emerged victorious with a 4-2 win.Â
The Girls 13U Division delivered exciting matches as Iconz Experience Iconz Elite Girls 2012 emerged as champions. Key Biscayne SC G-Elite 2012 secured a narrow 2-1 victory against Miramar Soccer Academy & Social Club CFC Naples 13G Premier. Meanwhile, Iconz Experience showcased their strength with a win over HEX FC Dominion USYS 12 G. Later that day, HEX FC bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Key Biscayne, while Iconz secured another win, defeating Miramar 2-0.Â
The action continued as Iconz Experience extended their winning streak with a decisive 4-0 triumph over Key Biscayne. HEX FC and Miramar faced off in a closely contested match that ended in a 0-0 draw. The championship match highlighted Iconz Experience’s remarkable performance as they defeated HEX FC in the finale.

The Girls 14U Division saw Kings Hammer Swan City Soccer Club KHP1 Swan City G11 dominate the bracket to reach the finals. On Saturday, they began with a commanding 3-0 victory over Naples Elite Soccer Club 2011 Girls, while The DA G2011 bested Tropical Soccer 2011G NPL 3-1. Later that day, Kings Hammer Swan City continued their stellar form with a 2-0 win against The DA, and Tropical Soccer bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Naples Elite.Â
Sunday brought further action as Kings Hammer Swan City secured another 3-0 victory, this time over Tropical Soccer. Naples Elite also claimed a narrow 1-0 win against The DA, showing resilience in a closely fought match.Â
In the final match, Kings Hammer Swan City Soccer Club KHP1 Swan City G11 faced The DA G2011Â and came out with a 4-0 win rounding out a successful weekend for Kings Hammer Swan City!Â
