The first half of the EDP Spring Classic took place over the weekend, with over 175 Girls teams competing. Over 100 clubs were in action, representing CT, DE, MD, NJ, NY PA, RI, Ontario, and Quebec. Games were played at Iron Peak Sports & Events, Green Branch Park, and WSFS Bank Sportsplex.
Less than 15% of the teams managed to go 3-0-0 in group play, with SJEB FC leading the way with three teams, and New York City FC Girls, Long Island Slammers, and Match Fit Academy FC each with two teams going 3-0-0. Just five teams managed to keep a clean sheet all through group play, LI Slammers Girls 2007 White, Old Bridge SC Thunder, Match Fit Academy Mercer 2009 White, Berks United FC 2008 Girls, and A-Game 2012.

9U Girls
SJEB FC 15G Colonial won the Royal Bracket, defeating Cedar Stars Academy Ocean 2015G Green in the final. Both teams won both matches on day one, defeating PSA North '15 Girls and Harrison Wolfpack 2015, before facing off on Sunday where SJEB FC won the contest 4-0. In the Scarlet Bracket, Match Fit Academy FC 2015 Morris Blue dominated group play, but were defeated by SJEB FC 15G Black in the final.
10U Girls
In the Royal Bracket, NYCFC Girls 2014 North and German American Kickers Crimson Storm met in the final after both finished group play on seven points. In the Final, NYCFC used their high-power attack to lead them to a 5-0 victory. SJEB FC 2015 defeated PDA 2015G Blue 2-0 in the final of the Scarlet Bracket, and SJEB FC 14G Colonia won the Ivory Bracket.
11U Girls
Highland Youth Soccer Club Swarm 2013 came out of the group stage with one win and two draws to reach the final. They took on Deptford Premier FC '13 Girls Fusion in the championship match, who was a perfect 3-0-0, and Highland Youth SC gave Deptford their first defeat, winning 2-0 in the Royal Bracket final. In the Scarlet Bracket, NYCFC Girls 2013 South and TBAA Magic 2014 drew 2-2 in group play, and in a rematch in the final, NYCFC came away with a big 6-1 victory. In the Ivory Bracket, Harrison SC Thunder 2013 defeated WUSC 2013 in the final.
12U Girls
NYCFC Girls 2012 North opened the weekend with two exciting wins. They defeated PDA-SCP 2012 Girls White 3-2, and then FC Copa G12 Black Rutgers 5-4. After defeating Clarkstown to finish the group stage, they completed their weekend beating FC Europa FCE 2012 Girls Elite in the final of the Royal Bracket. NYCFC Girls 2012 – South won the Scarlet Bracket defeating FC Copa G12 Red Rutgers in the final, and PSA North '12 Girls Black won the Ivory Bracket.
13U Girls
The Royal Bracket was one of the most anticipated brackets of the weekend. YMS 2011 Girls Flames opened with a 2-0 win over Cherry Hill, then a 3-1 victory over LVU Rush ECNL-RL G11. On six points and with Real JFC 11G GA on three points, YMS needed a win or draw to assure their spot in the final. Drawing 1-1, it locked in their spot in the final against TBAA Lightning 2011, where YMS won 3-0 for the championship. Whitby FC 2011 Girls OPDL won the Scarlet Bracket, Old Bridge Soccer Club Thunder won the Ivory Bracket, and Peninsula Warrior Eagles won the Yellow Bracket.
14U Girls
Two Canadian sides battled for the championship in the Royal Bracket. BD-OSC 2010G OPDL reached the final going 1-0-2 coming out of a very tough group, and FC Durham Academy 2010G OPDL was 3-0-0. In the final, FC Durham capped off their perfect weekend, defeating BD-OSC. OTFC 2010 OPDL Girls made it two championships in the age group for Canada, winning the Scarlet Bracket over The Football Academy NJ 2010 Girls Black in the final. Richmond Hill Raiders 2010 Girls OPDL made it another Canadian championship at 14U, winning the Ivory Bracket, and A-GAME 2012 won the Yellow Bracket.
15U Girls
Delaware Football Club 2009 DEFC Girls bounced back from an opening game loss to NJ Surf South Shore 2009 Girls White, and rattled off three straight wins, including a 3-1 win over Jackson SC Wolfpack in the final of the Royal Bracket. Match Fit Academy FC Girls Mercer 2009 White defeated Albertson Soccer Club G09 Red in the Scarlet Bracket final, and SJEB FC 09G South won the Ivory Bracket.
16U Girls
Deptford Premier FC '08 Girls did not lose a game all weekend. They beat BVB IA Waterloo - GU16 OPDL in game one, and Quickstrike FC 2008/09 in game two. They drew 0-0 against Liverpool FCNJ 2008 Girls, and then defeated Berks United FC 2008 Fury in the final of the Royal Bracket. In Scarlet Bracket, Rancocas Valley SC Dragons 2008 topped Jersey South FC 08G in the final.
17U Girls
FC Revolution Force beat Warminster SC Strikers 2-1 in the opener and did not allow another goal all weekend long. Multiple 3-0 wins saw them win the Royal Bracket, including a 3-0 win over FC Copa G07 Black Rutgers in the final. In the Scarlet Bracket, LI Slammers Girls 2007 White defeated Hazlet Unity in the championship match and did not allow a goal through all four of their matches.
19U Girls
FC Copa G06 Black Rutgers won the Royal Bracket, going 2-1-1 with their two wins on Saturday, setting them up for the top spot on the weekend. In the Scarlet Bracket, Union Soccer Fury 06 drew with Evergreen Youth Soccer Club Evergreen U18 Typhoon 1-1 in their first game, but then went on to win three consecutive matches, including defeating RUSA G2006 BLUE 2-0 in the final to win the championship.
