Sonya Brewer, a former standout with FC Berna Legacy and now a Sophomore at Kean University started both matches last week, and led the team's attack with two assists in the 4-1 win over NJCU and three shots in the team's 0-0 draw with Rutgers Newark.
Brewer is one of only four players who has started all 16 of the team's matches, and is tied for the team lead in points with 10. She also has a team high four goals.
During her youth career with FC Berna Legacy, she was a standout at several EDP Cup Showcases and was a part of the EDP League. She was also a standout for Bridgewater-Raritan High School.
