The Girls Best XI from the EDP Cup Spring Showcase 2025 are:

Adison was a standout forward throughout the weekend, impressively netting four goals across three games. Her most memorable moment came in the second match, where she clinched the victory with a stunning winning goal just three minutes before the final whistle. Demonstrating exceptional composure during 1v1 situations against opposing goalkeepers, Adison's skill set distinguishes her as a formidable presence on the field. Her tenacity and ability to create scoring opportunities from seemingly nothing highlight her talent and determination to lead her team to victory in critical moments.

#18 Jazmine Bradley – Match Fit Academy FC Essex Girls 2006/07

Jazmine was dynamite this weekend, netting three goals and relentlessly creating chances on goal for her team. She was a force to be reckoned with as a forward helping her team to an undefeated showcase weekend. Jazmine’s remarkable work rate, ability to hold up the ball and turn center backs, and create a shot on goal were instrumental in the team’s success.

#12 Aubree Marano – Rotterdam RUSC U18 NL Girls

Aubree performed as a versatile central midfield and solidified wins by supporting both offense and defense. Her relentless hard work and ball-winning was complemented by impressive technical ability. She showed patience when distributing the ball, creating numerous scoring opportunities and goals. Her ability to maintain possession and control the midfield with vision for quick decisions enabled the team to have many advantages. She worked the entire field supporting her defense as well shutting down many attacking chances by other teams. Having a midfielder with the endurance and stamina to play full games is a true gem for a team.

#17 Macie Kennedy – Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals 08G ECNL

Macie held down the defense in all three games.  Her decision making and her runs out of the back were very dangerous. She was an instrumental piece in the team's success over the weekend.

#6 Ashley Brown – Pennridge Yellowjackets SA United

Ashley was an absolute force up top for Pennridge. With her mix of speed and technical ability she created opportunity after opportunity culminating in a hat trick in one match and scoring four of the team's seven goals during the tournament. She also contributed two assists. Ashley was directly involved in six of the club's seven goals with the game-winning goal in each of the Pennridge victories.

#14 Riley Odom – NJ Surf South Shore 2008 Girls

Riley, who played right back this weekend, was a great vocal leader for the team. She is comfortable and composed playing out of the defensive third, always looking to join the attack. She was able to get herself a goal in the third game.

#6 Jorja Widmer – Deptford Premier FC 09G Elite NL

Jorja showcased her grit and talent throughout the weekend, making a strong impact from both the wing and striker positions. Her versatility and attacking instincts were on full display as she tallied three goals and three assists, playing a key role in her team’s perfect 3-0 record.

#37 Alexia Cecere – Jersey Shore Boca Jr FC O'Hara

Alexia, the team’s center back, had an outstanding weekend. Her anticipation, positioning, and decision-making during the Showcase helped to nullify the opponent’s offensive strikers. Her play guided O’Hara to an undefeated Spring Showcase.

#17 Sophie Peterson – Union County FC Dortmund 2010G

Sophie’s incredible goal-scoring season continued this weekend. A mix of finishing off some great team moves, combined with some special individual moments, Sophie added another five goals and an assist to her season total over the three games.

Susie helped lead the team to three victories using her relentless pressure to win the ball back and creativity when in possession. Her vision, technical ability and awareness resulted in a goal and two assists, while aiding in two clean sheets. Leading by example and being a great teammate are some of her most consistent qualities.
