Nia Christopher, a Junior at Division 1 Program Towson University broke the school record for goals in a game when she scored five goals in the team's win over Delaware State. Phoebe Canoles, also from Coppermine SC assisted on three of Christopher's five goals. Christopher moved into sixth place in program history for all-time goals with 22 and is now one back of tying fifth place.
In her Sophomore season, she became first All-CAA First Team player from Towson since 2014, and in her Freshman season she was All-CAA Second Team and CAA All-Rookie Team forward.

During her youth career with Coppermine SC Premier, Nia’s resume included a 2019 MD State Cup Championship and 2019 USYS National Championship, as well as a being 2019 IAAM All-Conference. As a forward for the Bermuda Senior National Team, Nia has played in both World Cup qualifying matches and CONCACAF Championship games.
