Liza Suydam, a former standout with Penn FC Youth and now a Freshman at Division 1 program Monmouth University started both matches last week, and scored the first two goals of her career in the teams 4-0 win over FDU.
During her youth career with Penn FC Youth, she was part of one of the nation's top teams. She helped her squad dominate the USYS National League South Atlantic Conference, and won the State, Regional and UYSY National Championship in 2021. She was named to the Best 11 in the USYS National Championship. She holds the school record at Manheim Township for goals in a season (31) and goals in a career (50).
