EDP Soccer College POTW: Leah Rifas

Leah Rifas, a Freshman for Division 1 Program Stony Brook, has been instrumental in the teams first two matches helping them to a 1-0-1 record. She made her first collegiate appearance in the team's opening game, a 2-1 win over Colgate. In her second game, she scored the game tying goal in the 43rd minute, helping the team to a 2-2 draw against University of Maryland.

In her youth career, she played for Patriot FC for Phil Bannister. With Patriot FC, she won the 2023 USYS National Championship., 2022 USYS Regional Championship, and 2023 USYS State Champion. In High School, she played for Ardsley HS where she was a five year varsity starter, and earned All-League, All-Conference, and All-Section honors.
