Julia Eichenbaum, a Junior at Division 1 Program University of Illinois scored her first career goal with 65 seconds left in the squad's 1-0 win over 17th ranked Butler University. Julia has appeared in all four of the team's games this season, and leads the team with seven shots. The team has four more non-conference games remaining before they begin Big 10 Conference play.
Julia was a standout player for PSA Monmouth her entire youth career. With PSA, she was named Best XI at the USYS National League Regional Showcase NJ managed by EDP Soccer, and was a top scorer in the USYS National League. At Shore Regional High School, she won back-to-back state championships in 2017 (freshman) and 2018 (sophomore), led Shore Regional to a state championship finalist appearance in 2020 (senior) and scored 107 career goals to finish as 2nd all-time scorer at Shore Regional.
