Emily Mashinski, a Sophomore at Division 1 Program High Point University played an integral role in Head Coach Aaron McGuinness' first win with the school. In the 22nd minute, she assisted on the team's first goal, and in the 79th minute, she put the game away with her first goal of the season as High Point came away with a 3-1 victory over Richmond.
During her Freshman campaign, Mashinski scored eight goals and had six assists.
During her youth career, Mashinski played for Keystone FC 03G, one of the most successful teams in the nation. The team was USYS National Semi-Finalists, USYS Regional Champions, EPYSA State Cup Champions, USYS South Atlantic Conference Champions, and participated in USYS National League. With Cumberland Valley High School she was selected First Team All-Star her sophomore, junior, and senior year.
