EDP Soccer College POTW: Daniel Russo

Daniel Russo, a former standout with Wall SC Cosmos and now a Senior at Notre Dame scored a fantastic second-half free kick to give the team a 3-2 victory over ACC rival Clemson. Russo is a key member of the team that is now 4-0-1, and ranked 20th in the nation.
Last season, he was named 2022 All-ACC Third Team, and College Soccer News National Player of the Week (11/1/22). He now has 11 goals and nine asissts during his college career.
During his youth career with Wall SC Cosmos, he was a 4 time NJ State Cup Champions and a 2 time Regional Champion. The teams resume also included being a part of USYS National League, 2019 EDP Spring Showcase Champions, 2018 USYS Regional Finalist, 2017 EDP Open Cup Finalist.
