EDP Cup Spring 2024 Tournament Preview

EDP Soccer will host the EDP Cup Spring this Memorial Day Weekend, annually ranked one of the top events in the nation by GotSport. The weekend will feature over 270 9U-14U Boys and Girls teams from across the East Region and Canada. All games will take place at Tuckahoe Turf Farms, one of the premier, all-grass venues in the country. The tournament is one of four events managed by EDP Soccer and iSE over Memorial Day Weekend, and Tuckahoe Turf Farm will host close to 500 games over the two days. 

The brackets feature best vs best competition, with teams from the nation’s top leagues taking part, creating opportunities for quality participants from different leagues to compete. Teams from MLS Next, ECNL, National Academy League, USYS National League, EDP Leagues, and more will all be in action.

13U Boys

The 13U Boys Platinum Bracket features MLS Next side FC Westchester, one of the oldest premier clubs in the country and a founding member of the US Soccer Development Academy and MLS Next. They are joined by three ECNL teams, including Connecticut FC ECNL B11, first in their league division with a 12-1-0 record. STA 2011B ECNL finished third place in the Platinum Bracket at EDP Cup Fall and is second place in their League Division with a 11-2-1 record. Manhattan SC ENCL B11 were champions of the Gold Bracket at EDP Cup Fall. From the National Academy League in the Bracket are two of the top three teams in the Northeast Division. TSF Academy 2011 Boys NAL who are 15-4-0 in league play and LI Slammers Boys 2011 Maroon who are 16-2-3. Cedar Stars Academy North 11B Elite 64 is in first place in USYS National League Elite 64 with a 10-0-1 record, and Western United Pioneers FC 2011 Boys Elite Red won their National League Conference in the Fall going 7-0-1. 

11U Girls

The 11U Girls Diamond Bracket welcomes Tournament Time 2013 Girls, who visit from the North and have a proven track record against top clubs in the Region. CFC North 2013 Pre-ECNL Black are one of the top-ranked teams in Connecticut, have been crowned champions in two of their last four tournaments, and sit at the top of the EDP CT Championship Academy Division. Western United Pioneers FC 2013 Girls Elite Red returns to EDP Cup Spring for the second time, where they fell just short in 2023 losing in the championship match. NJ Premier G2013 were champions of the top bracket of EDP Cup Fall 2023, and STA 2013G Pre-GA enters amid a great Spring season, where they are near the top of the table in EDP Premier I Central, one of the top 11U Divisions in the nation.
