The second half of the USYS National League Regional Showcase Virginia 2024 was held at River City Sportsplex in Midlothian, VA this past weekend. Managed by EDP Soccer, in collaboration with Club Champions and VYSA, the weekend featured teams in the 15U-19U Boys age groups. The field of 100+ teams was made up from 57 different clubs. Thirteen different states were represented, with teams from three different USYS Regions.
The remaining National League Regional Showcases in the East Region this Spring will be USYS National League Regional Showcase New Jersey in April, and USYS National League Regional Showcase New England in May.

The 19U Boys Platinum bracket had Northern Virginia United Academy '05/06B (VA) and Alliance Soccer Club 2005 Warriors Premier (MD) enter the final day both on four points. The two sides met on Sunday in a battle of two of the South Atlantic Conferences top teams, which saw Virginia State Cup Champion Northern Virginia United come away with a close 2-1 win, sealing their first-place finish.
Other age group winners include IFA West 05/06 Boys EDS (MA) in the Gold Bracket, Columbia Soccer Club 2006 Sparta Black NL (MD) in the Silver Bracket, Weston FC U18 (2006) Boys Black (FL) in the Bronze Bracket, FC Millennium International Milan (MD) in the Copper Bracket, Virginia Valor FC Valor 2005/06B Gold (VA) in the Steel Bracket, and Fredericksburg FC - U19 Boys Black (VA) in the Iron Bracket.
The 17U Boys saw IFA West 2007 Boys EDS (MA) continue their strong run of form, going 3-0-0. This comes off the back of a 3-0-0 performance at the National League Playoffs, where they clinched their spot in National League P.R.O. At the Showcase, they kept a clean sheet in all three matches, including a 1-0 win over Virginia State Cup Champion Burke United Academy NL. National League Playoff participant YMS 2007 Boys Premier Blackout NL EDP (PAE) finished in second place, going 2-0-1. White Plains YS Academy National 2007 (NYE) won the Gold Bracket, AC Connecticut B07 USYS National (CT) won the Silver Bracket, and Liverpool FCIA Central MD 2007 Boys (MD) won the Bronze Bracket.
The 16U Boys came down to the final day, as AC Connecticut B08 USYS National (CT) defeated Herndon RL B08 (VA), 2-1, to finish as the lone 3-0-0 team in the Platinum Bracket. They also recorded a 2-1 win over Team Challenger FC 08B Gold and a 3-1 win over VA Reign 2008 Elite Boys. St. Mary's Soccer SMS 2008 Boys Premier (MD) finished in second with a 2-0-1 record, having tied Herndon on day two.
Northern Virginia United Academy '08B (VA) won the Gold Bracket, Wake FC 08 Gold North (NC) won the Silver Bracket, and Wake FC 08 Blue (NC) won the Bronze Bracket, and FC Richmond 2008 Magic Elite (VA) won the Copper Bracket.
The 15U Boys had two teams finish with seven points a piece in the Platinum Bracket. Northern Virginia United Academy 09B (VA) and Cerritos SA 2009 Blue (MD) both went 2-0-1, with NVU finishing with the better goal differential to claim first place. NVU opened the event with a strong 4-1 win over Team Challenger FC 09B Gold from Ohio, before drawing 2-2 with Penn FC Youth 2009 M Black on day two. On the final day, they defeated Olympiacos NY 09 Red 1-0. Cheshire Soccer Academy 2009 Boys NL (NJ) won the Gold Bracket, and SFL Club 2009 Boys Black (NJ) won the Silver Bracket.
