USYS National League Regional Showcase NJ 2025 Best XI Boys

EDP Soccer has announced the Best XI from last weekend's USYS National League Regional Showcase New Jersey 2025 Boys. The selections were made based on the performance of the players during the tournament. Congratulations to the following players who were selected.
The Boys Best XI from the USYS National League Regional Showcase New Jersey 2025 are:

#10 Preston Galanis – Medford Strikers Academy Boys 2006
Preston tallied four goals and three assists over four matches, consistently influencing the game in the attacking third. Whether operating in the midfield or along the front line, Preston showcased his versatility and soccer IQ. His relentless work rate and positive energy were infectious, elevating the performance of those around him and helping his team maintain a high standard across all games.

#20 Msafiri Amis – PA Mutiny Gold Raptors 07
Msafiri delivered an outstanding performance on the weekend, scoring five goals and providing two assists. His consistent attacking presence and clinical finishing played a key role in his team’s success, showcasing both his individual brilliance and ability to create opportunities for teammates. Beyond the impressive stats, his grit and relentless work ethic stood out—pressing high, tracking back defensively, and never shying away from physical battles. His determination and commitment to his teammates proved crucial to the team’s overall success.

#4 Shawn Dixon – Quaker Elite Soccer Club Rowdies
Shawn was tremendous this weekend out of the back, stopping attacks and creating counter attacks resulting in a goal and assisting on game winners. His work rate was second to none and he was a big part of the team winning the championship.

#9 Nick Stanzione – Kearny Thistle United FC B2007
Nick scored five goals and added two assists to help lead Kearny Thistle to the championship, beating FC Revolution in penalty kicks in the final.

#10 Diego Argueta – Brentwood SC 2008 Premier Man City NL
Diego played an instrumental role for our team in this event. His dynamic performance this weekend recorded four goals and three assists, led the team to the top of the group in the Platinum Bracket, and helped the team reach the championship game.

#3 Carlos Bravo – Harrison SC United 2008
Carlos was a relentless force in the middle of the field all weekend and a huge part of his team winning their bracket. His strength and skill on the ball was on full display as he consistently won and kept possession and transitioned quickly to offense. His passing led to multiple goals and put constant pressure on the back end of the opponent's defense.

#10 Yusuf Qasemi– PSC Academy 2008 Boys Blue
Yusuf was an offensive force this weekend for his team, scoring four goals and assisting on one.

#13 Bryce Mullison – SJYS Elite
Bryce scored four goals this weekend, including two in the final. Bryce was very active in the midfield and created a lot of scoring opportunities for his team. Bryce also added two goals in the first game, which set the tone for the weekend.

#1 Michael Walsh – Fever SC 09 Vikings
Mikey scored two goals over the weekend and created endless opportunities for himself and his teammates. His skill on the ball and ability to take players on 1v1 played a big role in the team's success.

#27 Zach Beese – West-Mont United S.A 2010B Blue
Zach was a dominant and dangerous force all weekend from the right side delivering several goals and assists and leading the side to a first-place finish.

#33 Jaymee Cruz – Valencia SA 10 Black
Jaymee Cruz, had an outstanding performance this weekend in goal for Valencia SA. Jaymee recorded two clean sheets. Most notably, Jaymee posted a shutout in a 1-0 victory over CT Rush in the tournament final. In addition to his elite level shot-stopping, Jaymee is a consistent asset when building out from the back. He is a team leader both on and off the field. Jaymee’s impressive effort was the backbone of Valencia 2010 Black’s championship run.
