Second Weekend of New Jersey Youth Soccer Futsal Championships 2025 Concludes


The final weekend of the New Jersey Youth Soccer Futsal Championships 2025 Managed by EDP Soccer, kicked off this past weekend at Iron Peak Sports & Events in Hillsborough. The 8U-13U boys showcased their skills on Saturday, and the 8U-13U girls, along with the 11U boys, battled it out on Sunday. Over 170 teams have competed over the two weekends, featuring top futsal academies and MLS Clubs.

The 8U Boys Division saw some close games in the preliminary rounds of Bracket A. The Football Academy NJ FA Futsal Select 2017 Boys beat U.S. Futsal Club Ballers Den 2017B in a close match up, which nearly saw Ballers Den bring it back at the end of the game. In another close game, Ballers Den tied 3-3 with Futboltech - 2017. Both Ballers Den and Futboltech ended the group stage with 4 points, which meant The Football Academy advanced to the final, after putting on a strong display, and winning all three of their games. 

  

Bracket B saw a superb showing from the Reel Stream Media Group who missed out playing in the final, after losing to Valencia in a close 4-3 battle. In the final, Valencia put on an impressive offensive performance, scoring four goals and conceding one, which ultimately saw them crowned as champions. 

  

In the Red Division, it was all to play for after two games, with four teams in the running to make the final. Ballers Den were leading the pack going into the final game however, Reel Stream Media Group Select 2016B clinched a 3-2 win against them. Manhattan Kickers FC - 2016's also beat The Football Academy NJ FA Futsal Select 2016 Boys 4-1, which sent both teams to the final. Manhattan put on an outstanding display in the final, and won 3-0. 

  

In the Boys 9U Yellow Division, Reel Stream Media Group Select RSMG 2016B Academy II and Futevol Premier 2016 Barcelona, both had 6 points after their first three games. Both teams advanced to the final. Futevol eventually came away with the gold medals after beating Reel Stream 3-1 in a tense final. 

  

In the Red Division, both Manhattan Kickers FC - 2015 and U.S. Futsal Club Ballers Den 2015B were level on points heading into the final group stage match. They faced each other in an intense matchup to see who would make the final. Manhattan came out on top, winning the game 4-0. On the other side of the bracket, Reel Stream Media Group Select RSMG 2015B Showcase displayed their attacking abilities by scoring a massive 24 goals in their first three games. 

 

Reel Stream and Manhattan – the two strongest teams – battled it out in a nail-biting  final, that saw Reel prevail in a close 3-2 victory. 

  

Six teams battled it out in the Boys 10U Yellow Division. All teams managed to get points on the board however, Reel Stream Media Group Select RSMG 2015B Black progressed to the final with 7 points, having won two and drawing one. A.S. Junior Elite 2015 Boys (NJ) came in close second with 6 points. 

  

In a nail-biting final, the two teams displayed grit and determination, holding each other to a 1-1 scoreline after 25 minutes. Reel Stream managed to overcome AS Junior in the PK shootout. 

  

The Boys 11U Red Bracket kicked off on Sunday afternoon with Baller’s Den pipping The Football Academy Futsal Select 2014 Boys to the post in a 2-1 win. They continued their winning streak beating Reel Stream Media Group Select RSMG 2014B Showcase in an intense final group stage match 3-0. Futboltech – 2014 started their day with a solid 8-0 win. The goals kept flying as they headed to the final with 20 goals scored. The final result in the strongest  11U bracket saw Futboltech defeat their opponent 5-2 for the victory. 

   

In the Yellow Division, Perfect Touch Futsal Club PTS 2014 Boys Neon kicked off their campaign with a high-scoring 7-4 win against Success Academy Soccer Program SA 2014B – Blue. They continued their success with two more wins against Reel Stream Media Group Select RSMG 2014B Academy II, and FFA '14 Boys Blue. 

  

On the opposite side of the bracket, Delaware Football Club Most DEF kicked off their afternoon with a 4-2 win over Futevol Premier 2014 Black. Futevol went on to win their next two games, 7-1 and 5-2 but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough. Delaware dominated the rest of their games which qualified them for the final. Delaware and Perfect Touch hit the court for the final matchup of the day. In a closely-fought final, Perfect Touch edged it win a 1-0 win. 

  

Four teams came together in the Boy’s Blue Bracket to see who would come away with the title. Manhattan Kickers FC - 2014's put in a solid performance in their first two games, leading the group with 6 points. UES Futsal and New Jersey Futsal Futevol Premier 2014 Yellow, both had hopes of making the final going into their last group game. UES beat Futevol 3-1 to secure the spot. The two NYE teams, UES and Manhattan, faced off in the final. UES stepped onto the court looking for revenge after losing to them 1-0 in the group stage. They managed to overcome their first result and won the final 3-2. 

  

Eight teams battled it out in the Boys 12U Red Division. Success Academy Soccer Program SA 2013B - Blue (NYE) advanced to the final after scoring 12 goals and only conceding 3 goals in their first three games. A similar story to be told in the Bracket B, with Manhattan Kickers FC - 2013's (NYE) winning all three of their games, narrowly beating second place Futboltech 2013 3-2, to move to the final. Manhattan put out a stellar performance in the final, beating Success in a convincing 8-2 win. 

  

In the Yellow Division, Jersey City Soccer Association 2013 Boys Green put in a valiant effort winning two of their games and losing one. Unfortunately, they missed out on the final due to strong efforts from both A.S. Junior Elite 2013 Boys and Reel Stream Media Group Select RSMG 2013B Academy II, who both advanced after scoring 18+ goals. In the final, both teams battled hard until the final whistle with the outcome being 2-2 at full time. AS Junior managed to secure the gold by scoring all of their PKs.  

  

New York Red Bulls - Metro clinched a spot in the final of the Red Bracket, after beating second place Reel Stream Media Group Select RSMG 2012B Showcase 5-4, in a thrilling group stage game. Futsal 201 2012 Boys won the other spot in the final after winning all three of their games, facing AS Junior, Red Bulls, and Shore United. The two teams came together for the last game of the day on Saturday. Futsal 201 narrowly secured a 2-1 win to take home the gold medal. 

  

In the Yellow Bracket, Monmouth United Soccer MDS MUSC 2012 Boys I advanced to the final ahead of Creative Touch Futbol - Pink, who narrowly missed out on head-to-head. The Bracket B winners were Success Academy Blue, who nailed down wins in all three of their games. The two teams met in an exciting final, which saw Success Academy come away victorious, with a marginal 3-2 win against Monmouth United 2012 Blue. 

 

MDS and The Football Academy dominated the 8U Red Bracket as both went 2-0-1 splitting their group meeting 3-3 in a hard-fought encounter. The FA had some missed chances early on which kept MDS around, and they finished strong. The two teams locked horns again in the final, another incredible back-and-forth meeting. This time The Football Academy just edged its opponent 4-3, with the winning goal netted only 30 seconds before the final whistle. 

 

The Football Academy 2016 girls dominated the 9U Red bracket going 3-0-0 in group play. This set up a reunion with Olé Futsal in the final and The Football Academy walked away with the gold.  

 

Reel Stream and Ballers Den duked it out in the only five-team bracket. Both teams won their respective games against The Football Academy, Success Academy, and Olé Futsal. The meeting between the two brought a 2-2 tie which meant Reel Steam advanced over Ballers Den to the championship on goal differential. 

 

In the Red Bracket, U.S. Futsal Club Ballers Den 2014G and SJEB FC 14G PreGA Team 1 both advanced to the championship game after going 2-0-1 in pool play. The two teams met earlier in the day splitting a six-goal thriller. The final produced another exciting game with Ballers Den securing a 2-0 victory. 

 

The 11U Girls Yellow Bracket was an extremely competitive group which saw three of the teams separate themselves, all vying to qualify for the final. Langhorne Neshaminy United SC 2014 Hot Shots narrowly missed out with Futsal 201 and SJEB FC 14G PreGA Team 2 advancing, which set up repeat of their first game of the day which ended in a 0-0 tie. The final was more of the same, with both teams managing to register one goal, sending the game down to PKs in which Futsal 201 came out on top. 

 

In the Red Bracket, U.S. Futsal Club Ballers Den 2013G and Reel Stream Media Group Select 2013G Showcase both went into the final with 100% records and impressive goal differentials. This set up a showpiece final that did not disappoint. Two teams full of talent were separated by a single goal with Reel Stream edging Ballers Den 2-1. 

 

In the 12U Girls Yellow Bracket, Total Futsal and the Success Academy set the early pace, both starting with two wins out of two games. They then faced each other in the final group game with Total Futsal coming out on top 4-2. The pair would meet again in the final later that day, where once again Total Futsal captured the victory. 

 

SUSA FC Futsal Academy G12 Grey and The Football Academy NJ Futsal Select 2012 Girls were both perfect in group play Sunday afternoon, registering three wins from three games. This set up a meeting for the Championship in the last round of games later in the evening. The Football Academy proved too strong for their Long Island opponents clinching the title.
