The EDP Winter Showcase 2024 Girls was held at Maria Gatta Community Park in Oceanport, NJ on Saturday, February 10th. This invitation-only, one-day event, held for the first time this year, created a unique showcase environment that was extremely well received by club directors, college coaches, and the players. The event hosted 24 of the best teams in the Region, with 12, 16U girls teams and 12, 17U girls teams participating.
Teams in attendance included SUSA ECNL, World Class ECNL, Hex FC Bucks ECNL, PDA South ECNL, SJEB FC GA, Real Jersey FC GA, New York SC GA, Long Island SC GA, STA GA, Keystone FC GA, FC Copa Academy, NJ Premier FC, Valley FC, and FC Somers. Over 20 players committed to the top collegiate programs in the country were joined by over 400 uncommitted players. These players from the class of 2025 and 2026 had the opportunity to play in front of college coaches lining the sidelines. With just three fields being used all at one venue, each player was able to showcase their ability for the scouts in a highly-concentrated game day environment.

17U Girls
At the 17U age group, World Class FC 2007 ECNL and New York SC 07G GA were two of three 17U teams to win both of their matches. During the morning session, World Class FC opened with a 3-0 win over Keystone FC 07G GA followed by a 2-0 win over STA 07G GA. New York SC defeated FC Copa G07 ECRL 1-0, and then HEX FC Bucks ECNL 07G 2-1. In the afternoon, SUSA FC G07 ECNL also went 2-0-0, defeating Real Jersey FC 07G GA 2-0 and SJEB FC 07G GA 3-0. In total, eight of the 12 won at least one of their two matches.
16U Girls
At the 16U age group, NJ Premier FC G2008 and World Class FC 2008 ECNL were the only two teams to win both of their matches, with World Class FC as the only club to win four matches as an organization on the day. NJ Premier FC defeated New York SC 08G GA 1-0 and Keystone FC 08G GA 3-1. World Class FC defeated Keystone FC 08G GA 2-0 and STA 08G GA 1-0. In this age group, nine of the 12 teams won at least one of their two matches, showing how tight the competition was throughout the day among these top teams.
