This past weekend, EDP Soccer hosted the Central Jersey Invitational for 8U-15U boys and girls teams. The Central Jersey Invitational is one of the longest running Summer events in the country. This year's event featured over 200 teams from over 60 clubs, highlighting Summer programs from some of the premier clubs in the tri-state area. This year's event took place at Friendship Fields, Mercer County Park and Sawmill YMCA.

8U Boys NY Red Bulls RDS Showcase B2014 won the Blue Bracket, defeating TSF Academy 2014 Boys Select 5-1 in the final. NYRB went 3-0-0 in group play, including a close 4-3 win over the TSF in their opening game. In the Yellow Bracket, DTS Summer Select 2014 Boys went 4-0-0 to claim first place.
8U Girls Wall Elite Manchester City won the Blue Bracket going 3-0-1, with their 5-4 win over CSA Monmouth 2014G Green the difference at the top of the table, as Wall finished with 10 points and CSA finished with nine points.
9U Boys Futboltech Summer Select - 2013 Boys opened with a 3-1 win over NY Red Bulls RDS Showcase B2013 White in their first match, which would be the difference between the two as Futboltech finished with 1o points to NYRB 9 points at the top of the table in the Blue Bracket. In the Yellow Bracket, Wall Elite Ajax defeated PSA Monmouth '13 Boys Black in the final.
9U Girls In the Blue Bracket, Futboltech Summer Select - 2013 Girls finished 4-0-0 to win the bracket, and claim first place in both the boys and girls 9U top brackets. In the Yellow Bracket, NXT LVL (PA) 2013G went 4-0-0, with a 4-2 win over second place The FA 2013 Girls Black in their opening match.
10U Boys The Blue Bracket saw NY Red Bulls RDS Showcase teams put on quality performances, as both the Red and White teams went 3-0-0 in group play to reach the final, edging out STA on tie breakers. In the final, NY Red Bulls RDS Showcase B2012 White defeated NY Red Bulls RDS Showcase B2012 Red. PDA Hibernian Mbappe 2012 defeated The FA 2012 Boys Gold in the final of the Yellow Bracket.
10U Girls STA-MUSC 2012G NL EDP won the Blue Bracket with a 4-0-0 record, clinching first place with a 3-2 win over 2nd place Central Jersey Futbol Alliance Reign in both teams final match. The FA 2012 Girls Gold won the Yellow Bracket with a 4-0-0 record.
11U Boys The FA 2011 Boys Silver reached the final of the Blue Bracket allowing just 3 goals in their 3 wins in group play. In the final they defeated PDA Guardiola 3-1. Europa Lions FC 2011B Blue won the Yellow bracket defeating Match Fit Academy FC 2011 Boys Shore South in the final, and Wall Elite PSG won the Purple Bracket.
11U Girls
NY Red Bulls RDS Showcase G2011/12 won the Blue Bracket going 4-0-0, with several exciting high scoring matches. After opening with a 4-3 win over PDA 2011G Spirit White, followed by two 5-3 wins and closed out the event with a 4-0 win. CSA Monmouth 2011G Green won the championship of the Yellow Bracket defeating PDA South 2011 Magic 5-2 in the final. Tri-State Soccer Academy Evolution won the Purple Bracket, and PSA Monmouth '11 Girls EDP won the White Bracket.
12U Boys PDA 2010 Pre-ECNL finished in first place in the Blue Bracket, allowing just three goals across their 4 matches on the weekend. In the Yellow Bracket, Quick Touch Futbol ProElite 2010/11 defeated Morris Elite SC B10 Sky Blue 4-1 in the final.
12U Girls PDA 2011G Spirit Blue, SJGSL 2010 Girls Summer Select and Seacoast United Elite Regional Team Girls 2010 all went 2-1-0 in Group A of the Blue Bracket, but PDA advanced on tie-breakers to face off against PDA Xplosion 2010 who was 3-0-0 in Group B. In the final, PDA 2011G Spirit came out as champions.
13U Boys Seacoast United Elite Regional Team Boys 2009 topped SJGSL 2009 Boys Summer Select in the final of the Blue Bracket. Seacoast scored three goals in all four of their matches, recording wins of 3-0, 3-1, 3-1 and 3-1. FC DELCO Summer Select Black '10 won the Yellow Bracket, and TSF Academy 2010 Boys Select won the Purple Bracket.
13U Girls NJ Blaze Soccer 2009 defeated STA 2009G GA in their final group stage game to reach the final, where they faced Jersey Shore Boca Jr FC O'Hara and would claim the championship in a very close match-up that came down to the wire. Central Jersey Futbol Alliance Thorns defeated A-Game 2009G in the Yellow Bracket Final, PDA ECRL White 2009 won the Purple Bracket, and Mantua Township SA Hericanes 2009 won the White Bracket.
14U Boys Central Jersey Futbol Alliance Juventus and Jersey Shore Boca Jr FC Silva both went 3-0-0 in group play of the Blue Bracket, and in the final CJFA came out victorious. In the Yellow Bracket, Watchung Hills SA NJ Elite 08B defeated ProElite Training 08/09 in the final.
14U Girls PDA 2008G Regional White and Berlin Soccer Club Blitz 2008 drew 3-3, and both finished with 10 points at the top of the Blue Bracket, and PDA finished as first place based on the goal differential tie-breaker. In the Yellow Bracket, Europa Lions FC 2008 G Blue beat B'Elite Player Development SC Clash 2008 in the final.
15U Boys Seacoast United Elite Regional Team Boys 2007 defeated Stamford FC Boys 07 Premier in the final of the Blue Bracket. Seacoast kept two clean sheets throughout the event, and was led by their high-powered attack who was excellent all weekend long.
15U Girls In the Blue Bracket, PDA ECNL Wildfire White 2008 allowed just one goal while keeping three clean sheets, including group stage wins of 2-0, 2-1, and 2-0 before defeating Seacoast United Elite Regional Team Girls 2007 in the final.
