2025 EDP Cup Fall Showcase Girls Delivers Big Moments

The EDP Cup Fall Girls Showcase featured over 140 teams playing at one premier venue with over 85 college coaches registered or on site. Teams from NAL, GA Aspire, ECNL RL, The National League, OPDL, DPL, EDP and other league platforms were all in action at Tuckahoe Turf Farms. The teams from different league platforms also got the chance to play teams from new areas, with teams in attendance from six different state associations, plus Ontario, Canada.

Highlights from the showcase at each age group are below:

U19 Girls

Voorhees SA Alliance 2007 won the Diamond Bracket, winning each of their three showcase matches, and the lone team to go 3-0-0 in the bracket. They recorded 2-0 victories over Steel United NJ 2008G NL and Lionville ‘08 Blue Warriors, and a 2-1 win over 1776 United FC 08/07 Girls. In the Ruby Bracket, TSF Academy 2008/07 Girls NAL finished top of the table going 2-0-1, defeating Blau Weiss Gottschee '08 Girls and St. Thomas More School after drawing Back Mountain Surf 07/08G Storm in the opening match.

U17 Girls

Yardley Makefield Soccer ECNL RL G09 opened the weekend strong in the Diamond Bracket, keeping a clean sheet against Long Island SC 09G Aspire winning 3-0. They followed that up with a very tough 3-2 win over Canadian side Vaughan Soccer OPDL 2009 girls. They closed out the weekend with a 3-0 win over FC Frederick 09G. In the Ruby Bracket, three sides went 2-1-1, with each team playing three very close games. The three teams were Real FA 2009G NAL, NY Rush Syracuse 09G, and TSF Academy 2009 Girls NAL.

U16 Girls

Two teams finished with a perfect 3-0-0 record in the Diamond Bracket. Vaughan Soccer OPDL 2010 Girls kept two clean sheets, shutting out both FC Europa FCE 2010 Girls ECNL RL and Long Island SC 10G Aspire, and then also defeating Yardley Makefield Soccer YMS ECNL RL G10. Harrison SC Swarm 2010 also defeated those three sides and kept clean sheets over YMS and Long Island SC. In the Ruby Bracket, Voorhees SA Storm 2010 recorded all three victories by a one goal margin, with a 2-1 win over 1776 United 10 Girls NL Elite, 2-1 win over NY Rush Select 10G DPL, and 3-2 win over Jersey Shore Boca Jr FC Shaka.

U15 Girls

Long Island SC 11G GA won the Diamond Bracket, opening the weekend with a big win over FC Europa 2011 Girls ECNL RL, followed by a 3-1 win over YMS ECNL RL G11, and closed the weekend with a 1-1 draw against Falls SC Lady Lions 2011 Girls Premier. Match Fit Surf South Jersey 2011 ECNL-RL finished the Ruby Bracket 3-0-0, allowing just one goal against. They defeated Long Island SC 11G Aspire, NY Rush Select 11G DPL, and HEX FC Keystone ECNL-RL 11G.
