EDP Soccer hosted the first part of the USYS Regional Showcase NJ over the weekend with 15U-19U girls competing at one of the top recruiting opportunities in the region. All games took place at Tuckahoe Turf Farms in Hammonton, N.J., with all teams scheduled for three games in diverse cross-Conference match-ups against teams from differing parts of the region. Teams from four of the 13 USYS National League Conferences were in attendance, with teams from the New England Conference, North Atlantic Conference, Mid Atlantic Conference, and South Atlantic Conference in action.
College coaches from Division II and III schools were in attendance, as they looked to round out their 2021 recruiting class and prepare for the future with prospects from the class of 2022, 2023 and 2024. In addition to the college coaches on site, all 17U-19U games were recorded so that Division I coaches (NCAA mandated dead period until 5/31/21), and coaches who were not able to make the event due to budget and travel restrictions, will be able to evaluate players with video after the event through EDP Soccer’s partnership with ScoutingZone and Next Level Video.
