Steve Careine, coach of AC Connecticut, stated, “The weekend was fantastic. The competition exceeded all expectations and to play different teams from different states and this team, you know, we’ve been challenged a lot. Just recently we won the national championship in Colorado and to come out here and to compete against the top-quality teams in Region 1 and the states, just shows that we continue to improve as a team.” “It’s a huge honor to be hosting this celebration of soccer with a wonderful mix of clubs from across our Region and beyond. I was excited to see such an exciting range of playing styles and fantastic support from parents and fans.”, said Simon Collins, Technical Director for EDP.
