Over the weekend, EDP Soccer hosted the EDP Cup Spring Showcase, featuring over 350 15U-19U boys and girls teams from over 100 different clubs from 13 state associations. The teams enjoyed two perfect days of weather at Tuckahoe Turf Farms, Green Branch Park and the Cohansey Soccer Club Fields, as players were able to showcase their abilities in front of college coaches from all levels. Colleges from the Ivy League, Patriot League, Atlantic 10, AAC, America East, MAAC, NEC, NJAC, CACC, NEAC, MAC, CSAC, and more were in attendance watching prospective student athletes. EDP Soccer partnered with ScoutingZone and Next Level Video for the event, and select games were filmed and made available to college coaches to enhance the recruiting experience for players at the event.

The 19U Boys Platinum brackets saw EPYSA State Cup Finalists CASA 03 United go 3-0-0, allowing just one goal in the competition as they prepare to return to Tuckahoe Turf Farms for USYS Eastern Regionals later this month. Other bracket winners in the age group included New Jersey Surf South Shore 02/03, Jersey Knights SC Chargers, Penn FC Youth Stormrunners, Lehigh Valley United 2003 Blue, Chelsea Piers Shoreline SC PSG, PSA Monmouth Elite Orange 03, FC Revolution Sidekicks, and Princeton FC Atletico.
The 19U Girls Diamond bracket saw SJEB Rush 03G NL go 4-0-0, and they continue to show why they are a top team in the region. The NJYS State Cup Finalists scored 11 goals and conceded just twice during the competition. NJYS State Cup Champions and Millville SA Pride and Jersey Shore Boca Jr FC Fusion both had great showings in the Ruby bracket, going 3-0-0 to top the group. Other groups winners included Capital United Blue Lightning, SLS Spartans Elite, Evergreen Force and STA MOSC. The 17U Boys Platinum bracket included some very exciting games, including a rematch of the EPYSA State Cup final, with Penn Alliance Select Elite 04 getting redemption vs Lower Merion SC Invictus, scoring a late winner in the 2-1 win. Penn Alliance finished in first place in the bracket with a 4-2 win over MSYSA State Cup finalist in their final game. In the Gold bracket, three-time state cup champion CT Rush 04 Elite started with a 0-0 draw vs Dutchmen FC 04, but won the group after wins over Cedar Stars Academy Newark and TSF Academy. Other bracket winners included CASA 04M Elite, Cedar Stars Bergen Elite Youth, NJ Surf South Marlton 04, Buckingham United Premier 2004, Lancaster Elite Blue Strikers 04, PSA North Elite ’04 Orange, Elizabeth Spartans, Liverpool FCNJ 2004 South, Penn Fusion SA Predators, and PESA Dinamo. The 17U Girls Diamond bracket saw YMS Premier Force rattle off three impressive wins, including a big 5-1 win on Sunday to clinch first place in the bracket. In the Ruby bracket, a three-way tie at the top of the group was broken by goal differential, which allowed NJ Premier FC 2004 Girls to claim the top spot. Other bracket winners include New York Rush Select 04, ENCO 04 Red, Clarkstown White, and Deptford Premier FC. The 16U Boys Platinum bracket saw MSYSA State Cup Champion Brausa FC Blue 05 win the group going 3-0-0 with wins of 2-1, 4-1 and 2-0. In the Gold bracket, SJEB Rush 05 Academy defeated Lower Merion Legacy 1-0 in the final game to finish top of the group. Other bracket winners include STA-MUSC 2005B NL EDP, White Plains YS Academy National 2005, Marlboro SA 2005 Mustangs Blue, STA Mt Olive 2005 NL, TSF Academy USYS NL, Cedar Stars Monmouth 2005B, Chelsea Piers Shoreline SC Ajax and Chelsea Piers Shoreline SC Feyenoord. The 16U Girls Diamond bracket saw Sporting Delaware 2005G Academy put on an impressive performance, including a 2-0 win over a strong NJ Surf South Shore team which allowed them to finish top of the group. ENYYSA State Cup Semi-Finalist Patriots FC Girls 05 also won three games in the Diamond bracket. In the Ruby division, STA MOSC continued their very impressive spring season with two wins and a draw to finish in first place. In the Emerald bracket, Wall Elite Strikers scored 10 goals over three games to go 3-0-0. Other group winners were SJEB Rush 05G EDP, Cedar Stars Monmouth 2005G NL, and PDA Shore Courage. The 15U Boys Platinum bracket saw NJ Premier FC 2006 put in a dominant performance, with big wins on their way to going 3-0-0. One of NJ's other top sides, PSC Academy 2007 Boys Blue, won the Gold bracket with two wins and a draw. Other bracket winners include FC Revolution Knights, Chelsea Piers Shoreline SC Las Parmas, FC Copa Academy B06 Brooklyn and Deptford Premier FC 06 Boys. The 15U Girls Diamond bracket saw RUSA FC G06 Gold defeat EPYSA State cup champion Lower Merion SC Impact on Sunday morning to finish top of the group, going 3-0-0. New Jersey Rush 06G Grey NL went 4-0-0 in the Ruby bracket to finish in first place. Other group winners were Torpedoes SC 2006G Elite, Sporting Delaware 2006G Pre-Academy, Rhode Island Surf G2006, Cedar Stars Monmouth 2006G NL, and Chelsea Piers Shoreline SC Barcelona.
