Caden Stafford, a Freshman at NCAA Division I powerhouse University of Maryland, was featured in the squad's first game of the season vs 18th ranked Charlotte. In the 39th minute, he scored the game's only goal leading Maryland to the 1-0 victory. In the team's second game of the season, Stafford started in the 4-3 win over UMBC.
Stafford was featured in EDP's Ones to Watch and was the star of Syracuse Development Academy 03 Boys who were one of the top teams in the region. In 2019, the team won the USYS North Atlantic National League Conference managed by EDP Soccer, going 8-1-0 scoring 29 goals in conceding only four goals. In the USYS National Championship Series, the squad won the NYSWYSA State Cup, finished as semi-finalist in the Eastern Regional Championships, and lost on penalty kicks in the semi-finals of the National Championships.
