First Half Hatrick!
Taylor Calheira, a Sophomore at NCAA Division 1 program UMBC scored a first half hat trick in the team's 3-0 win over Lehigh. Calheira now has seven goals on the season, with four of those goals being game-winning goals. He has also added four assists. His goal total ranks 3rd in the nation, and he is first in the nation in game-winning goals.
While a member of BRAUSA United 02, Calheira was the leading scorer in the 2018-2019 National League with eight goals, and played in the 2019 Allstate All American game, an honor for the top high school players in the country. He also participated in the National League in 2019-2020 and reached the finals of the US Youth Soccer Eastern Regional Championships in 2019. See Calheira's goals:
