US Youth Soccer National League Girls: Lakewood Ranch Recap

US Youth Soccer National League competition for 15U-19U Girls wrapped up a 3-day weekend of play in Lakewood Ranch, FL that took place from January 10th to 12th.

 

 

The final event for the US Youth Soccer National League girls competition will be held in Las Vegas, NV on March 20th through 22nd, 2020 for teams who did not participate in Lakewood Ranch, FL.

 

 

Teams who finish in first place within their bracket, automatically earn a berth to the US Youth Soccer National Championship in Overland Park, Kansas. At 14U-17U, teams who finish in the top two of their bracket qualify for the 2020-2021 National League and at 18U, the top team in each bracket qualifies for the 2020-2021 National League.

 

 

After the 3 days of competition, 19U 1776 United FC 01 Xtreme (EPYSA) of the US Youth Soccer Mid Atlantic EDP Conference finished as the winner within their bracket and captured 1st place. 1776 finished the Blue Bracket with a record of 6 wins, 1 loss and 28 goals scored and only 8 goals scored against.

 

 

EDP would like to wish the 19U 1776 United FC 01 Xtreme (EPYSA) the best of luck at the US Youth Soccer National Championship games and their opportunity to compete against the best teams in the country.

 

 

Three teams from US Youth Soccer Conferences managed by EDP are in contention for first place and currently sit on top of their groups, pending the conclusion of future National League games in March.

  • 17U PSA National 03 (NJYS), Blue Bracket
  • 17U Keystone FC Premier 03 (EPYSA), Red Bracket
  • 14U Real Jersey FC 06 (NJYS), White Bracket

 

The following teams from US Youth Soccer Conferences managed by EDP have completed their National League season of seven games and currently sit in 2nd place:

 

  • 18U PSA National 02 (NJYS)

  • 16U Match Fit 2004 USYS (NJYS)

  • 15U STA 2005G USYS (NJYS)   

 

The 14U Maryland Rush Montgomery Academy Coyotes Blue 06 (MD) currently occupy 2nd place and are still in contention for 1st and a chance to secure their division after the conclusion of their final games.

 

Teams from the US Youth Soccer Conferences managed by EDP that have completed their season and are currently placed 3rd are as follows:

 

  • 18U New Jersey Rush 02 Grey (NJYS)

  • 18U Pipeline 02 Pre-Academy (MSYSA)

  • 18U Coppermine SC (MSYSA)

  • 17U FC Copa Academy G03 NL BLACK (NJYS)

  • 15U PSC Coppa Rage (EPYSA)

  • 15U Pipeline SC PreAcademy (MSYSA)

  • 15U MSI Academy White (MSYSA)

 

The 14U PSA National (NJYS) currently occupy 3rd place and remain in contention for a higher result within their division after their final games in March.

 

EDP would also like to highlight the individual talents and accomplishments of these players who were stand out performers during the week:

 

  • 19U - Caitlin Donovan, committed to LaSalle University, from 1776 United finished the season with 10 goals to lead her age group.

  • 19U - Gabriella Curry, a UMass commitment, from 1776 United finished the season with 5 goals.

  • 18U - Julia Eichenbaum, committed to University of Illinois, from PSA National finished the season with 8 goals.

  • 18U - Baylee DeSmit, a Loyola University Maryland commitment, from Pipeline SC finished the season with 7 goals.

  • 18U - Madison Palma of STA finished the season with 5 goals. Palma is committed to Sacred Heart University.

  • 17U - Peyton Gilmore of FC Copa finished the season with 8 goals.

  • 17U - Haley Gschrey of FC Revolution finished the season with 5 goals and is committed to LaSalle University.

  • 17U - Emily Mashinski, a Commitment to High Point University, of Keystone Premier FC finished the season with 5 goals.

  • 16U - Megann Kalthof of Pipeline SC finished her season with 4 goals.

  • 15U - Taylor Mays of Philadelphia SC Coppa finished the season with 5 goals.

  • 15U - Reagan Schubach of STA finished the season with 5 goals.

  • 15U - Sadie Wilkinson of MSI Academy finished her season with 5 goals.
