After two days of outstanding competitive play, the MAPS Cup 2019 wrapped up for girls ages 12U-14U.
The MAPS Cup is held annually on the weekend before Thanksgiving as an all-girls tournament and is a part of EDP’s Heritage Tournament Series.
Teams from New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York played in 60 games across the weekend, with 163 goals in total scored and a 1.616 differential overall.
Here are some of the highlights from this weekend's games:
In the U12 age group, the 2008G bracket featured NJ Crush FC Blizzard Orange versus NYRB Pre-Academy RDS 2008 in the championship game. NYRB Pre-Academy RDS 2008 won by a 2-1 margin.
The U13 age group 2007G Diamond bracket crowned winners TSF Academy 2007G USYS NL Blue, who finished their group with 12 points and 4-0 win/loss record.
The U13 age group 2007G Ruby bracket saw PSA SDFC Elite ‘07 Orange defeat Monroe TWP SC 07 Menace, by a score difference of 5-0.
At U14, the 2006G Diamond bracket awarded another TSF Academy club championship gold when TSF Academy 2006G USYS NL beat Hulmeville SC Force, by a narrow score of 2-1.
