Congrats To All New Jersey State Cup Winners - Teams From US Youth Soccer Conferences Managed By EDP Crowned Champions At NJ State Cup

The country’s most prestigious National Championship pathway, the New Jersey Youth Soccer National Championship Series State Cup 11U-14U 2019 has crowned their respective champions. These winners demonstrated skill, determination, grit and showcased years of hard work to claim their titles.

 

Teams from EDP leagues and teams from the US Youth Soccer Conferences managed by EDP were among the top teams that competed for the honor and be crowned State Cup champion.

  

Cedar Stars Academy Monmouth won both the 11U Girls and 11U Boys titles with the 2009G Green (EDP North Atlantic Premier I) defeating Real Jersey FC 2009 (EDP Central Atlantic Premier I) and the 2009B Pre-Academy Green (EDP Central Atlantic Premier I) defeating Vistula Garfield FC SC Panthers Zagorski (EDP North Atlantic Premier I).

Real Jersey FC won two State Championships at 14U Girls and 14U Boys. The 06’ Girls (Mid Atlantic EDP Conference) defeated NJ Premier F.C 2006 (Mid Atlantic EDP Conference), 2-0, and will return to regionals to defend their title from last year. The 06’ Boys (Mid Atlantic EDP Conference) defeated Washington United Elite 06 (Mid Atlantic EDP Conference) to win the U14 Boys title.  Washington United finished as a finalist for the third consecutive year in a row.

" As a smaller club, we are extremely proud of our 3 teams that were able to make the NCS Finals. To be able to have 2 of those teams come out victorious and earn a trip to Regionals is quite an accomplishment that we hope to build on moving forward " Jon Kopytko, Real Jersey FC Director.

 

In the 12U and 13U Girls, Torpedoes SC matched up against STA-Musc with each club finding a win. At 12UG Torpedoes SC Red Saxton (North Atlantic EDP Conference) defeated STA Musc 2008G USYS (North Atlantic EDP Conference) 5-1, to win their second State Championship in back-to-back championship victories. At 13U Girls STA Musc 2007G USYS (Mid Atlantic EDP Conference) defeated the Torpedoes SC (North Atlantic EDP Conference) in a penalty kick shootout. Both of these teams were semi-finalists in the 2018 State Cup.

 

In the 12U Boys group, NJ Premier FC 2008 (Mid Atlantic EDP Conference Premier I) defeated Cedar Stars Academy Monmouth 2008B Green (13U EDP Central Atlantic Premier III), 2-1. Both of these clubs were among the State Cup leaders, boasting 3 teams in the finals of the NCS.

 

For 13U Boys, SC Vistula Garfield Vistula 2007 Lewandowski (Mid Atlantic EDP Conference Premier I) defeated NJ Premier FC 2007 (Mid Atlantic EDP Conference Premier I) in a 3-0 shutout victory, to claim the 13U title. This was the second team from Vistula SC to have competed in the State Cup final.

 

The NCS State Cup was not the only state cup competition that wrapped up and crowned its champions. The New Jersey Youth Soccer Presidents Cup U11-14U finals also concluded from a tough crop of competitive teams as well.

 

In a tight final for the 11U Girls Presidents Cup, Roxbury MSC Elite Ruckus edged out Jersey Shore BOCA JR FC O'Hara, 3-2.

 

B’Elite Player Development SC Clash 2008/2009 shut out Rancocas Valley SC Dragons 2008 3-0 to win the 12U Girls President’s Cup bracket. B’Elite Player Development SC Clash recently won EDP Cup Fall 2019 in their age group as well.

 

The 13U Girl's age group found their title winner in Global Premier Soccer GPS NJ South 07G, who beat Chatham United SA 07 Breakers, 1-0.

 

Only one goal was the deciding factor of the 14U Girl's age group for the 2019 Presidents Cup when TSF Academy 2006G USYS NL beat Rancocas Valley SC Crush 2006, 1-0.

 

While on the boys’ side, Greater Flemington SC Caps PSG 09 beat out STA Musc 2009 Blue 3-2, in a narrow title win for the 11U Boys age group.

 

In another close final, Princeton FC 2008B Porto was able defeat Cinnaminson SC Union 2-1 in overtime to win the 12U Boys Presidents Cup championship.

 

Union County FC Sampdoria beat Deptford Premier FC 07’ 1-0, to win the 13U Boys group.

 

The 14U Boys President Cup champion found their winner Union SC Dragons Blue 06 who defeated STA Musc 2006 Boys USYS. This was STA’s second boy's team in a President’s Cup final.
