EDP 1st Team North Region Selections Made As Tryout Sessions Begin In Three States

EDP Soccer conducted its first-ever EDP 1st Team tryouts Sunday at the Hudson Sport Complex, with 66 nominated players taking part.  Following the tryout, 16 12U boys and 16 12U girls were invited to become members of the EDP 1st Team North Regional team. 


“Congratulations to the boys and girls selected to represent their North Region of our EDP 1st Team selection,” said Simon Collins, EDP Technical Director.  “We were amazed by the ability levels on show and pleased to see the depth of talent that plays within our EDP leagues. Now the North Region's boys and girls teams have been selected we are looking forward to seeing what the Central and Southern regions produce.”

Founded in 1999, Elite Development Program Soccer (EDP) is one of the largest organizers of youth soccer leagues and tournaments in the U.S. EDP operates youth leagues for boys and girls ages 9-19, conducts a Futures program for players ages 7-11, and operates U20/23 men’s and women’s leagues.
