East Brunswick, New Jersey— EDP Soccer is proud to welcome back Puma as official sponsors for another EDP event, this time for EDP Cup Fall 2019.
This year’s EDP Cup is not only a major championship weekend, but also the 20th anniversary of EDP Soccer. EDP is thrilled to announce that Puma is set to join.
Puma launched its first “football” cleat in 1948 and is now the third-largest sportswear manufacturer in the world. Its products have graced the feet of legends like Pele, as well as current players Sergio Aguero, David Silva, Luis Suarez and Antoinne Greizman. Puma also serve at current kit sponsors for current Premier League Champions Manchester City.
As a part of the EDP Cup Series, EDP Cup Fall 2019 serves as the best ranked tournament in the nation held over Columbus Day Weekend.
This year’s Cup Fall event has drawn over 578 teams. They come from three different US Youth Soccer regions; 15 total State Associations will be in attendance plus international competition from Canada.
“Puma has a long and prestigious history in soccer and we couldn’t be happier having Puma join us for this terrific EDP Cup Fall 2019 event,” said EDP President Alan Shilling.
