National League EDP Conferences Spring Showcase - Girls Best 11

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – EDP is pleased to announce the 11 players who have been named the “Best 11” at last weekend’s National League EDP Conferences Spring Showcase.  The selections were made by the coaches, who each chose a player of the match from the opposing team following every game. Those players who received the most votes were recognized as the “Best 11.”

The “Best 11” at the Girls’ National League EDP Conference Spring Showcase were:

Scored the only goal in both of Cedar Stars Bergen’s 1-0 wins at the tournament. Voted game MVP by the opposing coach in all three contests.

Class of 2021
Had two goals and three assists at the National League EDP Conference Spring Showcase. Continues her hot streak after finishing as NJ Rush’s top goal scorer in the U-17 US Youth Soccer National League.

Class of 2022
Involved in three of team’s five goals—scored once and tallied two assists at the National League EDP Conference Spring Showcase

Baylee DeSmit
Pipeline SC Pre-Academy (MD)

Class of 2021
Tallied seven goals and two assists, directly influencing nine of her team’s 11 goals in the tournament. Scored twice vs. YMS (PAE) before notching two goals and two assists vs. PSA (NJ). Finished the tournament weekend with a hat trick vs. Lehigh Valley (PAE) in the final game.

Plays on team ranked No. 1 in New Jersey. An incredibly tenacious striker with a tremendous work rate. A member of the New Jersey ODP Regional Team traveling to play in the Netherlands this week.

Helped lead a strong attack this weekend. Part of the 2018-19 ODP National Pool.

The US Youth Soccer National Leagues Program is for the nation’s top teams in the 13U through 19U boys and girls age groups, offering additional exposure to collegiate, professional and U.S. National Team coaches.
