EDP Adult Leagues

EDP Super Club 20/23 Summer League
 

A LEAGUE WITH A REGIONAL, NATIONAL FOOTPRINT FOR ELITE FEMALE AND MALE SOCCER PLAYERS

This league is primarily for clubs with a record of developing elite female and male players. It is designed to give those clubs an opportunity to extend their brand by providing an outlet for returning male and female collegiate players. Clubs can choose to enter U20 and/or U23 teams in the league. This league is suited for U20 and U23 teams from male and female US Soccer Development Academy and ECNL clubs, as well as other top Premier clubs.

The EDP Super Club U20/23 Summer League will consist of regional divisions, the exact number to be determined based on club interest. Travel to games will be limited to a maximum of approximately 90 minutes in the Northeast and East Coast, and may vary slightly in other regions.

Geographic Expansion

After a successful first season this past year in the Northeast region, EDP will be growing its EDP Super Club U20/23 League this coming season -- in the Northeast and in other regions of the country.

The league – for clubs with a record of developing elite female and male players -- is designed to enhance a club’s overall program by providing a pipeline for players who graduate from the youth side to the adult side. Clubs can choose to enter U20 and/or U23 teams in the league.

The U20/23 league will consist of regional divisions, the exact number to be determined based on club interest. Travel to games will be limited to a max of approximately 90 minutes on the east coast and may vary slightly in other regions.

Targeted regions for this coming season include:

- Metro NY/Connecticut
- New Jersey
- Massachusetts/New Hampshire/Rhode Island
- Metro D.C./Pennsylvania
- Chicago/Milwaukee area
- Southern California
- Texas
- South Florida and the Orlando/Tampa/Clearwater areas

League Elements

- League Dates: June 3 - July 29
- 6 game guarantee + playoffs
- Highly competitive
- Geographical alignment for group play
- Men's and Women's brackets
- Participating teams are eligible for the U23 USASA National Championship
- Teams may qualify for the Spring 2017/2018 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup

League Costs

- Fee:  $800
- Refundable Bond:  $300
- Carding fee : $18 per player
- Referee costs split by teams for each game

EDP U20/23 Classic Summer League


The EDP U20/23 Classic Summer League is also for returning collegiate players, as well as other players who want to extend their career beyond youth soccer and recent college graduates still looking for a competitive place to play. This league provides an opportunity for top older youth players to develop alongside former older players within their club or the surrounding area.   

Travel will be limited to 60-90 minutes.  Clubs can choose to enter U20 and/or U23 teams in the U20/23 Classic League.
