The U.S Soccer Coaching Department has released dates and locations for its upcoming A-Youth and B courses. Coaches have until Sunday, March 26, to apply for the courses, which will begin in mid-2017.
Coaches who currently hold a C License will have the opportunity to obtain a B license from U.S Soccer, a recognized member of soccer governing body FIFA. The higher-level courses will last 3-6 months and in some cases will require face to face meetings.
EDP Soccer’s Technical Director John Saunders believes that these courses are extremely beneficial in many ways. “Our goal as coaches should be to provide the best environment for players to reach their maximum potential. I encourage all coaches to continue their education for the betterment of their players, clubs and themselves. As soccer grows and advances in this country it is vital that the education of our coaches is a huge priority.”
